Asher Blue Wedge
Ready To Eat
One of only a handful of blue cheeses made in the entire American Southeast, Asher Blue arrived at the 2025 World Cheese Awards — judged against more than 4,500 cheeses from 43 countries — and took home Gold. Named for Jeremy and Jessica Little’s second son, the raw-milk wheel is hand-pierced fifty times on each side to draw its blue veining through a creamy-crumbly paste, with earthy, mushroomy depth, a whisper of cocoa, and a soft, salty finish closer to a Gorgonzola Dolce than anything sharp. This is the blue that converts blue skeptics, and one of the most decorated cheeses Sweet Grass has ever made. Perfect for a cheese board that needs a centerpiece, a honey-and-walnut pairing, or winning over someone who swears they hate blue.

A Southern creamery with a national reputation — and the hardware to prove it.
The South’s Most Honored Artisan Cheese
Out of Thomasville, Georgia, Sweet Grass Dairy makes some of the most decorated artisan cheese in the American South, led by Green Hill, a luscious double-cream with a soft bloomy rind that has become the creamery's calling card. Jessica Little grew up on a dairy, learning from a mother who helped pioneer artisan cheesemaking in the Southeast; she and her husband Jeremy have spent two decades building on that foundation, earning more than 50 national and international honors from the American Cheese Society, the World Cheese Awards, and the Good Food Awards.
The range runs from Thomasville Tomme, aged 60 to 90 days in the style of a Pyrenees tomme, nutty and smooth, to Asher Blue, creamy enough to convert skeptics, to Georgia Gouda, a 2023 release that swept the major competitions in its first year. Sweet Grass Dairy's Southern cheese is shipped nationwide on Goldbelly, proof the South belongs on any cheese board.
