Hudson introduced the city to this winning combination, which was popularized in Harlem to satisfy jazz musicians who craved a combination of breakfast and dinner after a late-night show. Friends of Hudson including Stevie Wonder and Natalie Cole soon spread the word to other celebrities including Redd Foxx, and before long the whole city was enthralled by this seriously comforting, seriously delicious mashup.
Today, Roscoe’s has seven locations in the Los Angeles area, and is the city’s chicken & waffles gold standard (as well as one of its most famous restaurants, period). Roscoe’s fried chicken is dredged in a secret blend of seasonings before being pan-fried to golden brown perfection, and their waffles are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, only made better when smeared with butter and doused with syrup or a signature sauce. Roscoe’s used to only be available in LA, but not anymore – its signature dish, along with a wide variety of soulful sides, are now shipping nationwide!

- Chicken & Waffles ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Upon arrival, place chicken and waffles in the freezer for up to 1 month. Do not defrost, cook from frozen.
- Hot sauces and syrup can be stored at room temperature for 1 year. Once opened, store syrup in the refrigerator for up to 30 days.
- Dipping sauce may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Butter may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
- Store sides in the freezer for up to 1 month. Sides can be cooked from frozen.
To Serve
Chicken & Waffles
- Preheat oven or air fryer to 350 F.
- Place chicken wings in oven for 10-12 mins.
- Place chicken tenders in oven for 8-10 mins.
- Place waffles in oven for 5-7 mins.
- Serve with your choice of sauces & enjoy!

- Cook in microwave on high for 2 minutes, covered.
- If still cold in the middle, cook for 1 additional minute, covered.
