It all started with one man and his passion for dairy. At the age of 21 in 1894, Max Radloff founded his dairy operation at Hustiford Creamery in Wisconsin. Throughout the early 1900s, he continually expanded his business, running 26 facilities at one point before consolidating it to two—Hustiford, Wisconsin and Minerva Dairy’s present location in Minerva, Ohio. For the last 120 plus years, Minerva Dairy has relied on farm-fresh milk, old fashion churns and wholesome ingredients to produce their award-winning cheeses and famous 85% Batch Churned Amish Butter. And they continue to transform the dairy industry with their innovative flavor-infused roll butter—slather their Garlic Herb or Maple Syrup roll butter on some toast and you’ll see what we mean!
Today, fifth-generation siblings Adam Mueller and Venae Watts run the show, having worked at the dairy since they were 12. Their 12 kids are also beginning to learn the ropes. Minerva Dairy is not going anywhere, and we love that!
