The Chesapeake - 4 Maryland Crab Cakes + Dip
Two of Boatyard’s icons in one box: four six-ounce jumbo lump Chesapeake-style crab cakes and a creamy, cheesy crab-and-artichoke dip loaded with lump crab, artichokes, spinach, sweet onion, and parmesan. The crab cakes, hand-formed daily in Annapolis with no filler, earned Southern Living’s title as the best crab cake you’ll ever eat. Boatyard Bar & Grill, the Eastport spot founded in 2001 by former investment banker Dick Franyo to honor the Chesapeake sailing life, does crab better than most. Perfect for a crab lover’s dinner, a party spread, or a gift that goes all in on the Bay. Cakes to start, dip to finish.

Crab Cakes are uncooked
- Crab cakes and dip are shipped fresh with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
- Upon arrival, place crab cakes and dip in the refrigerator. Crab cakes are best enjoyed within 2 days. Dips can be stored in the fridge for 4-5 days
- To serve, we recommend broiling the crab cakes on a lightly greased pan or foil, about 6 inches from the flame. Cook until golden brown with an internal temperature of 145°F
- Crab cakes can also be pan seared with butter and finished in a 350°F oven until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, approximately 10 minutes
- To serve crab dip, place dip into an ovenproof dish. Cover with aluminum foil and slowly heat in a 325F oven for about 10 minutes. Remove foil and gently stir the dip, then return the covered dish to the oven until thoroughly heated through (internal temperature 160 degrees). Serve with crackers, crostini or French bread.
