Weikel’s Bakery’s award-winning sweet and soft Kolaches are the heart of their bakery. They offer traditional Czech fillings such as their most popular, cream cheese and fruit fillings. Their Cinnamon Rolls made from their soft and sweet Czech dough for a gooey delight covered in sweet almond and vanilla icing, and their Honey Bee Rolls are made like a cinnamon roll but covered with honey and pecans.

What started as a small cafe opened by brothers Alvin and “Pop” Weikel in 1929 grew into a well-known restaurant called the Bon Ton Restaurant when Alvin’s son, Jim, joined the business. After Jim sold the restaurant in 1985, he opened Weikel’s Bakery with his wife Jo Ann in La Grange, Texas. Weikel’s Bakery makes award-winning Czech baked goods, including sweet and soft Kolaches and savory Klobasnikies (Pigs-in-a-Blanket).
