- Store unopened items in a cool, dry place for 6-12 months.
- Once opened, consume within 1 week.
To Serve
Pasta
- Fill a large pot with water: about 4–6 quarts per pound (450g) of pasta.
- Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat. Salt the water (optional, but it boosts flavor).
- Add 1–2 tablespoons of salt per 4–6 quarts of water.
- Add the pasta to the boiling water. Stir immediately to prevent sticking.
- Cook Until “Al Dente” (usually 8–12 minutes). Taste a piece 1–2 minutes before the time is up. “Al dente” means it’s tender but still has a slight bite.
- Pour the cooked pasta into a colander to drain the water. Don’t rinse the pasta, unless you’re making a cold pasta salad. Rinsing washes away the starch that helps the sauce stick.
- Return pasta to the pot or a bowl.
- Toss with sauce, olive oil, butter, or cheese.
- Serve & enjoy!
