This pizza begins with freshly made dough, topped with housemade tomato sauce, freshly shredded mozzarella, and premium pepperoni. The pepperoni is layered beneath the cheese for that signature flavor.

Founded by former miner Sam Perrella and his wife Louise in 1954 in Hibbing (best known for its iron mine and as the hometown of Bob Dylan), Sammy’s is a homegrown local icon that today has more than a dozen locations throughout the region. It’s run by Sam & Louise’s children and grandchildren, who keep his legacy alive one pizza at a time – made according to a recipe that hasn’t changed since day one.

  • Each pizza serves 2-3 people and measures approx. 12"

Pepperoni is layered under the cheese for Sammy’s Pepperoni Pizzas

  • Pizzas ship frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
  • Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
  • Upon arrival, store pizzas in the freezer for up to 6 months.

To Serve

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Remove pizza from wrapping and serving tray.
  • Place frozen pizza on the center rack of the oven.
  • Bake for approx. 12-14 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Slice, serve and enjoy!

Sammy’s Minnesota-style pizza recipe hasn’t changed since day one: It starts with freshmade dough, topped with freshly shredded mozzarella, scratchmade tomato sauce, and toppings including fresh veggies and homemade pork sausage.
