These pizzas start with freshmade dough, and they’re topped with scratchmade tomato sauce, freshly shredded mozzarella, and high-quality toppings. They bake up to crisp, bubbly, cheesy perfection on your home oven – be sure to cut them into squares for the real Sammy’s experience!

Minnesota has a pizza style all its own – and nobody does it better than Sammy’s. Founded by former miner Sam Perrella and his wife Louise in 1954 in Hibbing (best known for its iron mine and as the hometown of Bob Dylan), Sammy’s is a homegrown local icon that today has more than a dozen locations throughout the region. It’s run by Sam & Louise’s children and grandchildren, who keep his legacy alive one pizza at a time – made according to a recipe that hasn’t changed since day one.

  • Each pizza serves 2-3 people and measures approx. 12"

To Serve

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Remove pizza from wrapping and serving tray.
  • Place frozen pizza on the center rack of the oven.
  • Bake for approx. 12-14 minutes, until golden brown.

Sammy’s Minnesota-style pizza recipe hasn’t changed since day one: It starts with freshmade dough, topped with freshly shredded mozzarella, scratchmade tomato sauce, and toppings including fresh veggies and homemade pork sausage.
