Signature Cinnamon Social Danish Pastry

Straight from Denmark to your doorstep, Ole & Steen’s signature Cinnamon Social is their bakery’s take on the classic Danish kanelstang – a soft, buttery pastry layered with cinnamon, vanilla custard, and tender dough. Baked until golden and finished with a light icing drizzle, it’s soft, slightly flaky, and full of warm, cozy flavor in every bite. Easy to slice and perfect for sharing (though we wouldn’t blame you for keeping it all to yourself.)

Back in the early 1990s, Danish bakers Ole Kristoffersen and Steen Skallebaek each opened their own bakeries, achieving renown in their home country of Denmark. In 2008, the duo joined forces and opened Ole & Steen, which quickly gained a loyal following by pioneering a resurgence of artisanal, handcrafted baking practices. Today, the bakery has locations in Denmark, England, and New York City, and has become legendary for its authentic Danish breads and pastries made from carefully sourced, whole ingredients, handcrafted with care.

Back in the early 1990s, Danish bakers Ole Kristoffersen and Steen Skallebaek each opened their own bakeries, achieving renown in their home country of Denmark. In 2008, the duo joined forces and opened a bakery called Lagkagehuset, which translates to “Layer Cake House.” It quickly gained a loyal following by pioneering a resurgence of artisanal, handcrafted baking practices and expanded to multiple locations. Outside of its native Denmark it was renamed Ole & Steen.

Today, the bakery has locations in Denmark, England, and New York City, and has become legendary for its authentic Danish breads and pastries as well as its sleek, inviting spaces with that distinctively Danish sense of “hygge” and hospitality.
