Idaho Spud & Old Faithful - 36 Pack

Idaho Candy Company ships its famous classic chocolate candy nationwide on Goldbelly! The Idaho Spud Bar was originally marketed as a “Healthful” candy bar since it is made with agar agar instead of gelatin. Named after the geyser in Yellowstone National Park, the Old Faithful bar is nothing short of delicious. The Old Faithful is a chocolate peanut cluster bar with a soft white, vanilla-flavored marshmallow center that is topped with whole peanuts and then generously coated with premium quality milk chocolate.

Since 1901, Idaho Candy Company has been creating chocolate candy like the Idaho Spud Bar, a wonderful combination of a light cocoa flavored, soft marshmallow center drenched with a dark chocolate coating and then sprinkled with coconut (Sorry, no potato!) that was introduced in 1918. Founded by T.O. Smith, the candy maker still makes its nostalgic chocolate candy in its original Boise, Idaho, factory using many of the same machines from the early 1900s.

The package includes 18 Idaho Spuds and 18 Old Faithful bars

Idaho Candy Company began as a dream for T.O. Smith in 1901. He had been a journeyman candy maker in Chicago and Salt Lake City before he moved to Boise, Idaho to help build a local hotel. After construction finished he found himself out of work and started making candy and selling it door to door out of shoe boxes to make ends meet. Eight years later, Smith built a modern factory in Boise to meet the growing needs of the Idaho Candy Company's customers; this is the same 23,000 sq ft factory that they still make their candies in today using some of the very same machinery from the early 1900s!
