Pro oyster eater and master shucker? This box is for you! Our Pro Shuckers Kit comes complete with everything you need to have an excellent oyster feast and shuck just like the pros.

This package serves 6 people and includes

  • 36 Hog Island Extra Small Sweetwater Oysters
    • Each oyster measures approx. 2-2.75" in length
    • Oyster type may vary depending on the weather
  • Hogwash Mignonette
    • 2 oz. jar of vinegar mixture
    • 2 oz. jar dry ingredients
  • 1 bottle Hog Island Hot Sauce (5 oz.)
  • 1 Branded Wooden Oyster Shucking Knife made by R. Murphy
    • Stainless blade (2-1/2″ × 5/8") with a wooden handle
  • 1 pair Oyster Shucking Gloves (one size fits most)

Lime not included

  • Live oysters ship fresh and love to be cold, damp, and able to breathe.
  • Upon arrival, remove oysters from the bag, place a colander in a bowl so shellfish can drain well, and cover with a clean, wet kitchen towel.
  • Keep refrigerated between 34–40°F.
  • Never submerge shellfish in fresh water or salt water.
  • Bivalves may open their shells slightly to breathe — this is normal and means they’re healthy.
  • Discard any oysters whose shells are broken or do not close tightly when tapped.
  • Store Hogwash Mignonette in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  • Best enjoyed within 3–4 days of delivery.

To Serve

  • When ready to serve, shuck oysters and place on a platter of ice to keep them cold.

  • To prepare the Hogwash Mignonette, combine the contents of both jars plus the juice of 1 lime (not included) in a bowl just before serving.
