Front Street Apple Pie
Named for the Traverse City street where Grand Traverse opened its first shop in 1996, the Front Street apple pie is one of the bakery’s best-sellers. It’s filled with Northern Spy apples, the Michigan variety bakers prize for staying firm and tart, under a flaky hand-rolled crust made from scratch daily. Founders Mike and Denise Busley source the fruit and flour locally, and every pie bakes up with that signature bubbling ring of juice. Perfect for a Thanksgiving table, a Sunday dinner dessert, or an apple-pie traditionalist who wants a classic double crust.
This package serves 8-10 people and includes a Front Street Apple Pie
- Each pie measures 9"
- Pies are baked fresh, frozen, and shipped without ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival, place pie at room temperature or in the freezer.
- Pies last up to 3 days at room temperature or up to 2 months in the freezer, do not refrigerate.
- Pies can be served at room temperature or warmed.
- Allow pies to thaw at room temperature for at least 8 hours before serving.
To Serve
- Preheat oven to 300°F
- Remove pie from the box and bake for 20-30 minutes.
- Internal temperature must reach 165° for 15 seconds
- Remove from oven, slice, and enjoy!
