Brooklyn-based Elegant Desserts has been creating cute and elegant, kosher and non-dairy desserts since 2000. Founded by Benjamin Weisz, Elegant Desserts makes lactose-free treats like frozen “donuts” in classic flavors like chocolate vanilla sprinkles, salted caramel, hazelnut, and strawberry; and Frizza Pies, frozen dessert pizzas with a cookie base, dairy-free ice cream, and toppings. Many of the desserts are also gluten-free.
This package serves 10 people and includes 1 Centerpiece Pull-Apart Sweet Crumb Challah
- Each challah measures approx. 9″ × 13″ and weighs approx. 2 lbs.
- Challahs are made to order and shipped frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Upon arrival, place the challah on the counter or in the freezer.
- Challah may be stored on the counter for 2-3 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months
- Thaw challah for 2-4 hours before warming.
To Serve
- Preheat oven at 250℉.
- Warm in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!

As a Kosher, dairy-free (and largely Gluten-free) dessert manufacturer, this Brooklyn-based company got creative with non-dairy desserts including sorbet lollipops, gourmet specialty desserts, fruit shells, mason jar desserts, babkas and more--desserts perfect for gifts and entertaining, or to eat alone in reverential silence. All the desserts are made with high quality ingredients, and all of the sorbets are made with real fruit. (All products are Kosher Parve certified under the supervision of the CRC.)
We love how easily their sorbet-filled fruit shells add a major touch of elegance to a dinner party, and how much fun it is to cut into one of their Frizza Pies - frozen dessert pizzas, with a cookie base, dairy-free ice cream and toppings.
