Founded in Birmingham as a small neighborhood bakery by the husband-and-wife duo of Terry and Dottie Smith in 1998, Edgar’s Bakery has since grown into one of Alabama’s most beloved homespun bakeries, with nearly a dozen locations throughout the state.   • Each cake measures approx. 8" and weighs approx. 5.75 lbs.
  • Cakes ship frozen with dry ice.
  • Dry ice may dissipate in transit.
  • Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
  • Store cake in the freezer for up to 45 days or in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

To Serve

  • Thaw cake in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Bring cake to room temperature 1 hour prior to serving.
