These juicy and plump pork & shrimp shu mai are served with sriracha and chili oil.

Opened in early 2019, Perry Cheung’s West Hollywood Dumpling Monster has become a dim sum hotspot thanks to its freshly made dumplings and wontons. One bite and you will see why Food & Wine has called Dumpling Monster “next level dumplings” and you will be inspired to do as Dumpling Monster says “Eat more dumplings.”

This package serves 3-4 people and includes

  • 24 Pork and Shrimp Shu Mai
  • 2 packets Siracha
  • 2 packets Chili Oil
  • Each dumpling measures approx. 1.5″ × 1.5″
  • Shu mai ship frozen with dry ice.
  • Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
  • Upon arrival, store items in the freezer.
  • Dumplings last up to 2 months in the freezer.

To Serve

  • Heat your steamer pot to a rolling boil.
  • Place shu mai into steamer basket lined with parchment paper or bedding of cabbage leaf or a leafy green 1/2 inch apart.
  • Place steamer basket with lid on top of pot of boiling water.
  • Steam soup dumplings for about 10-11minutes.
  • Carefully remove steamer basket from the pot, as the shu mai will be extremely hot. Let the dumplings rest for 1-2 minutes after removing.
  • Enjoy with dipping sauce
  • Serve and enjoy!
