Kalbijjim is a big, hearty stew of braised short rib covered with a massive amount of melted cheese. This package serves 3-4 people and includes
- Prime Grade Beef & Sauce (3.75 lbs.)
- Carrots (10 oz.)
- Potato (9 oz.)
- Onion (14 oz.)
- Rice Cake (5.5 oz.)
- Cheese (5 oz.)
- 2 Rice Bowls
- Chili Powder (1 oz.)
- Only included in the spicy version
- Microwavable Container Included
- Kit ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Meat is fully cooked, vacuum-sealed, and packed with ice packs for safe delivery.
- Store it in the refrigerator or freezer immediately upon receiving.
- Kit may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer up to 1 week.
To Serve
- Place the fully thawed package (12 hours in the refrigerator) OR use microwave defrost meat function and set to (4 m 30 sec), then place it into the frying pan or wok.
- Cook on low heat, stirring well every 2-3 minutes to prevent sticking. Don’t smash the vegetables.
- Let it cook for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Transfer all cooked ingredients over to a microwaveable serving dish. Add Cheese, and microwave the entire dish for 1-2 minutes (until cheese melts)
