Cookie Good is a family business run by Melanie & Ross Canter along with their 20-something kids, Mia & Gabe. Ross was a Hollywood screenwriter who loved to bake, and during the 2008 writer’s strike he started selling cookies out of his house to make a little extra money. The business quickly grew, and Cookie Good was born! Cookie Good uses only the highest-quality ingredients in all of their fun and nostalgic baked goods: chocolates from Callebaut & Van Leer, Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla, and AA sweet creamery butter.
This package includes 12 Cookies
- Each cookie weighs 1.7 ounces and measures 3" – 3.5" (depending on the cookie)
- Recommended serving size is 2 cookies per person (factoring in your appetite and willingness to share, of course!)

Cookie Flavors Include
- 1 Bad Robot – We created this cookie in honor of Bad Robot, one of our favorite film and TV production companies (and cookie clients!). We start with our Red Velvet Cake Cookie dough – nix the white chocolate and add in dark chocolate chips, Heath Bar bits, and two yellow M&M “eyes”.
- 1 Caramel-Pretzel Chocolate Chunk – Our best seller. Chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, caramel, pretzels, and a sprinkling of crunchy pretzel salt – it’s a salty/sweet, chewy/crunchy, and just plain awesome cookie.
- 1 Count Chocula – Swooping in just in time for Halloween, this cookie – made with the Count’s favorite chocolatey breakfast cereal – is batty with gooey chocolate, tiny marshmallows, and a sparkle of purple sugar (imported from Transylvania, of course).
- 1 Frankencookie – It’s alive! Stitched together from six of our classics — Birthday Cake, Caramel-Pretzel, Chocolate Chip, Just Plain Sugar, Red Velvet Cake, & S’mores – this gothic monster of a cookie is the latest creation from our laboratory.
- 1 Flamin’ Hot Cheetos – Since our Cheetos Cookie first appeared three years ago, people have been asking for the Flamin’ Hot version and I resisted…until now! Halloween seems like the perfect time to debut a cookie that’d make the devil himself turn red(der). This cookie is packed with flaming’ hot CHEETOSy goodness and is not for the faint of heart. Biter beware – this is SPICY!
- 1 Haunted House – This midnight black cocoa cookie is spooked out with a ghoulish combination of White Chocolate Kit Kats, white chocolate chips, ectoplasmic green sprinkles, and howling ghosts.
- 1 Little Goblin Sugar – This monstrously fun sugar cookie is covered in Halloween sprinkles, a gooey green vanilla glaze, and a single (mostly unblinking) eyeball.
- 1 M&M Monster – One of the latest creations brought to life in our cookie laboratory, this one has a monstrous mix of all the M&M candies we could unearth: Caramel, Cookie Crisp, Mini, Peanut, Peanut Butter, Pretzel, and of course, Milk Chocolate M&Ms are re-animated in a brown sugar cookie base.
- 1 Monster Mash – Our Birthday Cake Cookie is all dressed up for Halloween with spooky sprinkles and pumpkin & bat decorates.
- 1 Pumpkin Spice Donut – One bite of this cinnamony, gingery, nutmeggy, and, of course, a pumpkiny cookie (that’s been dipped in spiced sugar) and you can actually see fall leaves turn color.
- 1 Sour Patch Kids – This is a Halloween favorite for anyone looking for a little “trick” with their “treat.” It’s sweet, slightly fruity, and insanely SOUR. Pucker up, people!
- 1 Trick or Treat – We’ve basically emptied our Halloween loot bags into one cookie: it’s got Butterfingers, Heath Bars, Kit Kats, M&Ms, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Snickers.
- Items ship without coolant and arrive ready to eat!
- If you have more will power than we do and have decided to freeze some of your cookies or bars, getting them back to “fresh baked” is really easy. Follow the directions below!

Cookie Good is a family business run by Melanie & Ross Canter, with help from their 20-something kids, Mia & Gabe. Ross was a Hollywood screenwriter who loved to bake (his grandfather was one of the original Canter Brothers, who started the iconic Canter's Deli in Los Angeles). During the writer's strike in 2008, Melanie suggested they start selling his cookies out of their house to make some money. An email went out to 100 family and friends, and the business quickly grew from their home kitchen to a part-time commercial kitchen and finally into their Santa Monica retail location.
Cookie Good makes sweets that are fun and nostalgic; cookies & brownies that bring you back to the pure joy of being a six-year-old taking that first bite of your favorite dessert. Cookie Good uses only the best ingredients in all of their baked goods: chocolates from Callebaut & Van Leer, Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla, and AA sweet creamery butter.
