Calabria Restaurant & Pizzeria was founded in 1980 by two immigrant brothers, Guiseppe and Bernardino Ottaiano, and today it’s managed by Bernardino’s daughter Gabriella and Guiseppe’s son Guiseppe, Jr. Over the past 40-plus years, Calabria has become one of the most popular Italian restaurants in the northern New Jersey town of Livingston, where the locals go wild for its flawless thin-crust pizzas.
This package serves 10-12 people and includes your choice of 3 Dozen Raviolis
- Each ravioli weighs approx. 1 oz.
Ravioli Options Include
- Cheese – These authentic cheese ravioli are bursting with flavor for a homemade taste. Made from tender pasta and generously filled with premium Ricotta and romano cheeses.
- Spinach & Mozzarella – Tender fresh spinach and creamy ricotta are combined with the delicate flavor of mozzarella cheese and a pinch of nutmeg for this classic Italian ravioli.
- Mac & Cheese – This dish is, of course, all or mostly about the cheese. Filled with creamy blends of cheddar, American, and ricotta cheeses.
- Braised Beef Brisket – Grade A American beef is slowly roasted with sweet onions until they are caramelized golden brown. This process ensures that the meat is so tender that it falls apart with just a fork.
- Lobster – Fresh leeks and shallots are sauteed in butter and brandy and then added to succulent Maine lobster meat. Each batch is seasoned with fresh tarragon, to bring out more flavor.
- Ravioli ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store ravioli in the freezer.
- Ravioli may be stored for up to 1 year in the freezer.
To Serve
- Bring 4 quarts of water to boil.
- Stir the water with a spoon and add the frozen ravioli to boiling water.
- Reduce heat to a low simmer and cook uncovered for approx. 8-9 minutes, until ravioli reaches 160°F or to desired tenderness.
- Serve and enjoy!
