Opened in 1947, Butterflake Bakery in Teaneck, N.J. is one of the oldest bakeries in northern New Jersey. The kosher bakery is famous for their legendary challah, authentic Jewish rye bread, and meltaway cakes. Everything is hand-made from scratch and many of the recipes have been handed down since the bakery’s establishment.
This product is manufactured in a facility that is strictly kosher for Passover.
Each package serves 6-8 people and includes 1 Passover Chocolate Seven-Layer Cake
- Each cake weighs approx. 1 lb. and measures approx. 6"
- Cake ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Upon arrival, remove cake from packaging and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To Serve
- If frozen, cakes can be defrosted overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature for 3-4 hours. It is recommended that the cakes be served at room temperature by leaving on the counter for 1-2 hours before serving, once defrosted.
