Home of the Legendary Orange Crunch Cake
Home of the Legendary Orange Crunch Cake

The Bubble Room, the Captiva Island, Florida landmark behind legendary scratch-baked layer cakes — Red Velvet, Orange Crunch, Jamaican Rum — has been one of the Gulf Coast's most beloved and eccentric destinations since 1979. Decked floor-to-ceiling with vintage holiday decor, thousands of antiques, Christmas bubble lights, and model trains chugging overhead, there is genuinely no other place like it.
Severely damaged by Hurricane Ian in 2022 and painstakingly rebuilt over nearly three years, The Bubble Room reopened in 2025 — and now its most legendary cakes are shipped nationwide on Goldbelly.
