The Bubble Room, the Captiva Island, Florida landmark behind legendary scratch-baked layer cakes — Red Velvet, Orange Crunch, Jamaican Rum — has been one of the Gulf Coast's most beloved and eccentric destinations since 1979. Decked floor-to-ceiling with vintage holiday decor, thousands of antiques, Christmas bubble lights, and model trains chugging overhead, there is genuinely no other place like it.
