Fudgy brownie balls rolled with ganache and cream cheese, enrobed in rich chocolate, and hand-decorated as footballs — Brownie Points’ game day Bruffles from the Columbus company Lisa King started in her Cleveland apartment in 1991 while teaching third grade. King sold the business, bought it back, rebuilt it into a two-facility operation with 40 bakers, and earned features on Good Morning America and the Food Network along the way. The Bruffles are the creation that keeps the scoreboard interesting.
