"Big Flat Crack(er)" GIANT Passover Chocolate Covered Matzah

It’s that time again. Jewish people all over the world are getting ready to celebrate the exodus from Egypt with the holiday of Passover. The story passed on through generations is that during the exodus from Egypt, the Jewish people didn’t have time to let their bread rise. Some Jewish people observe Passover by not eating leavened bread, instead opting to eat what is lovingly known as “the bread affliction”.

Big.Fat.Cookie decided that matzah (kinda really plain) doesn’t have to taste bland and boring. With a nod towards the favorite Big.Fat.Cookie flavors, they created big.flat.crack(er):

Big because matzah is approximately 7" square.
Flat because matzah is unleavened bread.
Crack because it might arrive cracked. What? Were you gonna eat the entire gigantic piece anyway?

As the name suggests, big.fat.cookie makes giant, 6-ounce cookies that are big, fat, crunchy, and gooey. After three decades of manufacturing costume jewelry, Linda Friend started big.fat.cookie in 1986 to bring colossal crispy-on-the-outside and soft-on-the-inside cookies to Chicago. Just like her wearable creations, Friend wanted to make inventive cookies that brought pure joy to everyone. Baked in small batches, these big fat cookies are so big that they are meant to be sliced like a pie and shared!
