Everyone can enjoy our favorite cake regardless of allergies with our Gluten Free rendition of the classic. Each cake is carefully hand-coated with our delectably savory and “not-too-sweet” cream cheese icing. This two-layer favorite is great year round, so grab a slice for any occasion! Deep, golden layers will keep you lingering around the cake plate for one more little taste.
This package serves 16-20 people and includes a Vegan Gluten Free Carrot Cake
- Each cake measures 8 1/2" in diameter and 4" in height
- Each cake is carefully wrapped and sealed in a signature Daisy Cake Box
- Daisy Cakes are shipped frozen with dry ice
- Please do not remove dry ice with bare hands!
- Store Frozen – When your Daisy Cake arrives, take it out of the shipping container and store it into your freezer until you are ready to thaw and serve. Do not remove the plastic wrap if the cake is soft. Refreeze so it hardens enough to remove the plastic smoothly without the icing sticking to the plastic.
- Cakes can be frozen for just a few days, or a couple weeks tops in a chest freezer
To Serve
- Thaw & Serve – Completely unwrap and thaw before serving. Six hours of thawing and your Daisy Cake will be the perfect temperature to serve!
Note: Once a cake has been thawed, do not re-freeze.

Daisy Cakes was founded in Pauline, SC by Kim Nelson using the traditions and recipes handed down to her by her mother Geraldine and Great Aunt Daisy. This southern tale of family tradition and farm-fresh ingredients dates back through generations. The result is cakes so good that when Kim appeared on "Shark Tank," Barbara Corcoran couldn't resist investing!
The story all starts here in South Carolina, with “The Southern Misses”. These southern belles were the talented bakers who passed down their hand-made recipes with love, from generation to generation. Daisy Cakes' appreciation of farm-fresh ingredients is rooted in childhood memories. Back on the farm, the Misses baked and cooked as a way to show their families how much they loved them. Their farm provided fresh eggs from the coop, vegetables from the garden, and delicious hand-churned butter. At Daisy Cakes, their appreciation of farm-fresh ingredients still rings true today. From the farm-fresh eggs to the simple lemon curd - which Kim will only make in her mother’s original enamel pot (no one in the kitchen is allowed to touch it!).
