Daisy’s Classic Lemon Cake is a Blue Ribbon winner! Now you get the chance to enjoy Daisy Cakes Award Winning Lemon Cake as gluten-free! All the deliciousness of our signature lemon cake, but with no worries about gluten.

Sandwiched in between four tiers of delightfully delicate cake is a layer of our bright handmade lemon curd. Each fresh lemon is hand zested and juiced in our South Carolina bakery. The lemon curd is then lightly blended into our signature cream cheese icing for a fresh burst of tart lemon in every bite! Our Classic Daisy Cakes are hand-sifted and made from scratch in our Pauline, South Carolina kitchen.

This package serves 16-20 people and includes your choice of 1 Daisy’s Lemon Cake

  • Available in regular or gluten-free!
  • Each cake measures 8 1/2" in diameter and 4" in height and weighs approx. 4 lbs.
  • Each cake is carefully wrapped and sealed in a signature Daisy Cake Box
  • Daisy Cakes are shipped frozen with dry ice
  • Please do not remove dry ice with bare hands!
  • Cakes can be frozen for just a few days, or a couple weeks tops in a chest freezer
  • Store Frozen – When your Daisy Cake arrives, take it out of the shipping container and store it into your freezer until you are ready to thaw and serve. Do not remove the plastic wrap if the cake is soft. Refreeze so it hardens enough to remove the plastic smoothly without the icing sticking to the plastic.

To Serve

  • Thaw & Serve – Completely unwrap and thaw before serving. Six hours of thawing and your Daisy Cake will be the perfect temperature to serve! Note: Once a cake has been thawed, do not re-freeze.

Daisy Cakes was founded in Pauline, SC by Kim Nelson using the traditions and recipes handed down to her by her mother Geraldine and Great Aunt Daisy. This southern tale of family tradition and farm-fresh ingredients dates back through generations. The result is cakes so good that when Kim appeared on "Shark Tank," Barbara Corcoran couldn't resist investing!

The story all starts here in South Carolina, with “The Southern Misses”. These southern belles were the talented bakers who passed down their hand-made recipes with love, from generation to generation. Daisy Cakes' appreciation of farm-fresh ingredients is rooted in childhood memories. Back on the farm, the Misses baked and cooked as a way to show their families how much they loved them. Their farm provided fresh eggs from the coop, vegetables from the garden, and delicious hand-churned butter. At Daisy Cakes, their appreciation of farm-fresh ingredients still rings true today. From the farm-fresh eggs to the simple lemon curd - which Kim will only make in her mother’s original enamel pot (no one in the kitchen is allowed to touch it!). Each cake is baked with love and carefully wrapped and sealed in a signature Daisy Cake Box. Just look for the daisy - each cake has one!
