Cinnamon Babka

William Greenberg Desserts ships its famous cinnamon babka nationwide on Goldbelly! William Greenberg’s Aunt Gertrude outdid herself with this outstanding coffee loaf. The bakers take sour cream yeast dough and fill it with melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon…then cover it with her famous streusel crumbs.

Beloved bakery William Greenberg Bakery has delighted New Yorkers since 1946. On his way back to New York after serving in World War II, Greenberg acquired the funds needed to open his eponymous Manhattan bakery during a card game. The rest is delicious history. The New York bakery makes all the classics, including black & white cookies, rugelach, and brownies.

New York, NY

The half vanilla, half chocolate cookie from Manhattan’s William Greenberg Bakery, of course. A beloved classic since 1946, New Yorkers are fiercely loyal to this quintessential local delight—it’s been voted the “Best of New York” and even Jerry Seinfeld knows the best way to eat them: by getting some black and some white in every bite. “Nothing mixes better than vanilla and chocolate,” says Jerry, explaining the delicate art of eating these cake-like treasures in Seinfeld episode 74. We wholeheartedly concur.

Sophisticated, delightful, and outright delicious, these legendary cookies are handcrafted and made fresh every morning—and now this unique taste of New York is available wherever you are. Lucky you.
