Since 1989, Splash Cafe has been a must-do destination on California’s Central Coast, just steps from the iconic Pismo Beach Pier. Owned and operated by Joanne and Ross Currie since 1991, Splash has earned a national reputation for its award-winning clam chowder, serving more than 25,000 gallons each year to loyal fans from around the world.
Made from a closely guarded recipe and served in fresh-baked sourdough bread bowls from Splash’s own bakery, the chowder has become synonymous with Pismo Beach and has earned multiple top honors at the annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival.
