Derrick “Chef Teach” Turton spent 13 years working with hip hop royalty as Vice President of Polo Grounds Music before returning to his foodie roots and opening World Famous House of Mac as a Miami food truck in 2014. His super-creamy, wildly delicious mac & cheese and sweet lemonade quickly earned a grassroots following, which led to the first brick-and-mortar location opening in 2018. Today, there are three Miami-area locations, and Chef Teach’s mac & cheese has earned legions of fans with creative flavors including Five Cheese Truffle, Buffalo Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Lobster, & Pizza.

Chef Teach is committed to giving back to the community, and he’s spread the gospel with appearances on The Today Show, Rachael Ray, & Good Morning America.
