Founded in 2001 by a dozen Wellfleet shellfishermen, including Jim Connell, Bob Wallace, and Barbara Austin, Wellfleet Shellfish Co. ships a wide variety of local seafood from their unique location on the Outer Cape to your door.

- Clams ship fresh with ice packs.
- Upon arrival, remove packaging and place the mesh bag of clams immediately in the fridge.
- TIP! Place your clams in an open bowl so they don’t leak inside the refrigerator. Cover with a damp cloth or kitchen towel to maximize their freshness.
- May be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Do Not Freeze.
- All shellfish orders are packed to withstand an extra day of transit in anticipation of weather and service delays.

Day boat scallops are harvested by small dredge and shucked on deck by hand, sweet and briny clams are harvested daily from Wellfleet Harbor, fresh lobsters are caught in Cape Cod waters and shipped live daily, and oysters are raised from seed, sustainably farmed inside Wellfleet Harbor. It’s the bounty of the Cape, shipped from the dock to your door.
