In 1878, 20 year-old Silviano Venchi bought two bronze cauldrons and opened a chocolate shop in the Italian city of Turin. Dubbed “the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont,” Venchi today has more than 350 varieties of chocolate, 90 gelato flavors, and more than 130 shops in 70 countries and counting.
