In 1878, 20 year-old Silviano Venchi bought two bronze cauldrons and opened a chocolate shop in the Italian city of Turin. Endlessly innovative, passionate, and meticulous, he quickly attracted a loyal following of chocolate lovers, and his creations became the stuff of legend. Dubbed “the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont,” Venchi today has more than 350 varieties of chocolate, 90 gelato flavors, and more than 130 shops in 70 countries and counting. Only the highest-quality ingredients and old-world techniques go into Venchi’s signature creations, many of which are still made according to Silviano’s original recipes.

- 2 Honey and Walnut Mooncakes – The magic of luxurious combination of a dark chocolate shell encases a money chocolate filling with caramelized walnuts, complemented by a dark chocolate base with almond paste, making each bite a delightful surprise.
- 2 Tea and Biscuits Mooncakes – Comes with milk chocolate shell with a filling of milk chocolate infused with a hint of tea with added baciodidama biscuit, all within a milk chocolate shell and a 56% dark chocolate base, ensuring that every bite is filled with happiness.
- 1 Gianduia Chocoviar – A crunchy whole, lightly roasted pgi piedmont hazelnut encased in our special gianduia with only three ingredients: chocolate, raw cane sugar and a pgi piedmont hazelnut. If you’re a dreamer with a chic soul but love simple things, biting into our gianduia will be like reading a book about yourself.
- 1 75% Chocoviar – Creamy dark chocolate filling in a 75% cocoa nib shell and covered with 75% chocoviar crunch. Intense, decisive and straight to the point. Chocoviar 75% dark is just as you would expect. It’s the flavour for you if you’re strong and sophisticated by nature and love the intensity of dark chocolate.
- 2 Extra Dark Gianduiotto – The gianduiotto, with its unique shape reminiscent of a small upturned boat, is a jewel of the piedmontese chocolate making tradition and represents a true innovation in the world of chocolate. The extra dark variant of the historic venchi recipe involves using 75% selected cocoa and at least 30% of short-chain pgi piedmont hazelnuts.
- 2 Nougatine – The recipe has not changed since 1905: a heart of short-chain pgi piedmont hazelnut, chopped and bound with caramelized sugar, covered in 60% pure dark chocolate. The nougatine wrapping was an idea of silviano venchi, inspired by the travel and adventure stories of the writer emilio salgari. Salgari himself loved tasting it in the literary salons of turin, as he recounted mysterious adventures. Each nougatine represents a sweet story: the journey that brought together the exotic cocoa and the crunchy pgi piedmont hazelnuts.
- 2 77% Nibs Grandblend – A luxurious blend of 77% extra dark chocolate enriched with crunchy cocoa bean nibs for a unique texture and a voluptuous flavour. This bar opens up to reveal light notes of fruit fondue, sweet spices and nuts. It pairs perfectly with coffee, hibiscus tea, red and passito wines, and fruit juices.
- 2 80% Extra Dark Chocolate Aromatic Grandblend – The distinctive and refined flavour profile is based on a blend of cocoa beans that offer barrel-aged notes. Some beans are actually aged in barrels to develop fine aromas and unique characteristics. Other beans, however, are sourced from an island in the indian ocean, and are characterised by the smoky notes in their flavour profile. On the palate, the chocolate releases notes of toasted wood, smoked embers and tobacco leaves. This recipe is created to be enjoyed with peated spirits, sweet wines, cigars, liqueurs or, for an unexpected twist, an irish coffee.
- 2 Raspberry and Cocoa Nibs Grandblend – A winning combination that combines the velvety sweetness of chocolate with the lively and slightly tart freshness of raspberry. The result is a contrast of flavours in perfect balance with each other, where the crunchy note is given by the addition of toasted cocoa bean crumbs.
- 2 Dark Chocolate Ingot – A classic of the venchi tradition: two whole, short-chain pgi piedmont hazelnuts, exclusively from the langhe area, set in a 60% dark shell. A taste experience that celebrates the combination of chocolate and dried fruit and plays on the pleasant contrast of textures, thanks to the crunchy whole piedmontese hazelnuts, celebrated worldwide for their perfect balance of sweetness and intense aroma.
