In 1878, 20 year-old Silviano Venchi bought two bronze cauldrons and opened a chocolate shop in the Italian city of Turin. Endlessly innovative, passionate, and meticulous, he quickly attracted a loyal following of chocolate lovers, and his creations became the stuff of legend. Dubbed “the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont,” Venchi today has more than 350 varieties of chocolate, 90 gelato flavors, and more than 130 shops in 70 countries and counting. Only the highest-quality ingredients and old-world techniques go into Venchi’s signature creations, many of which are still made according to Silviano’s original recipes.

Discover it in the 60% dark chocolate version with dark filling, combined with Gianduia and at least 27% of short-chain PGI Piedmont hazelnuts. The rich depth of the dark chocolate flavour reinvents the classic sweetness of Gianduiotto giving a touch of intensity and character.

Discover it in a version ideal or the more curious: three layers of chocolate with pistachio paste (25%) – a layer of white chocolate between two of milk chocolate. The balanced addition to your sweet tooth moments, pistachio is rich in fibre, antioxidants and vitamins. A combination of flavours, where tradition meets innovation, giving life to a very creamy tribute to the green gold of the Mediterranean.
- 1 Extra Dark Cremino – The famous three-layered Piedmontese chocolate, just over 2.5 centimetres wide and 1.5 centimetres high. Small, but incredible, each square is a microcosm of flavours. Discover it in the perfect version to pair with coffee or spirits: three extra-dark layers – a layer of Gianduia with almond paste between two of Gianduia with hazelnuts. The alternation of two different percentages of cocoa, 56% and 75%, gives a soft consistency and a balanced final aftertaste, where the intensity of the dark chocolate and the sweetness of the Gianduia come together, completing each other.

Caramel, with its history dating back to the Arabs of 1000 AD, is the beating heart of this creation: a layer of dark chocolate with almond paste between two layers of white chocolate with caramel, in sublime contrast with the dark chocolate.

This delight is revisited by us in a milk chocolate version with crunchy, gluten-free, PGI Piedmont hazelnut biscuit. A brief journey into the heart of Piedmont, where tradition and innovation come together.
- 1 Nougatine – The recipe has not changed since 1905: a heart of short-chain PGI Piedmont hazelnut, chopped and bound with caramelized sugar, covered in 60% pure dark chocolate. The Nougatine wrapping was an idea of Silviano Venchi, inspired by the travel and adventure stories of the writer Emilio Salgari. Salgari himself loved tasting it in the literary salons of Turin, as he recounted mysterious adventures. Each Nougatine represents a sweet story: the journey that brought together the exotic cocoa and the crunchy PGI Piedmont hazelnuts.
