Apple Cake
An 8-inch cake gone gooey and rich, flecked throughout with market apples, from the kitchen of Union Square Cafe Executive Pastry Chef Toni Weiburg. It’s become one of the most-requested recipes the restaurant has ever put out, and the dessert seemingly every table on 19th Street is ordering. Union Square Cafe has anchored New York dining since Danny Meyer opened it in 1985 – the sweet ending to a meal at one of the city’s most decorated restaurants.
