It all started in 2011 with a bake sale. Looking to raise some money for charity, the Russell family decided to put a new spin on crispy marshmallow rice snacks by using some unique ingredients from their pantry. After a couple of hours, some sticky little fingers, and some licked-clean bowls later, they had created three flavors of treats and set up shop on their old lemonade stand.

Although the kids' charming smiles may have inspired initial purchases, people soon came back to buy seconds and even thirds. The overwhelming positive response quickly convinced them they were on to something big and the Treat House was born!
