Soup

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil (soup may be reheated from a frozen state or if they are thawed, simply submerge in boiling water.)
  • Boil until soup reaches 170° F.
  • Once they have been boiling for about 20 minutes, the bags can be wrapped around a thermometer to see if they reached 170° F prior to opening the bags.
  • If they are not hot enough simply place the bag back in the boiling water until 170° F is reached.
  • Carefully pour soup into bread or serving bowls.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Bread Bowls

  • Cut a lid out of the top of the bowl about 4 inches in diameter.
  • Hollow out the bowls and discard the bread that is removed.
  • Bake the bread bowl in an oven set at 450° F for about 7-8 minutes or until hot and crispy to your liking.
  • Remove from the oven and fill with hot soup.
