Melbourne native Debbie Sharpe has spent years traveling the world catering for some of the music industry’s biggest stars, everyone from Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones to Madonna and Beyonce. In 1990 she settled in Chicago and opened several critically acclaimed restaurants, and in 2004 she realized her dream of opening an Australian-style cafe, called The Goddess & Grocer. The Goddess, obviously, is Sharpe.
This product is made with Kosher for Passover Ingredients, but it is not Certified Kosher for Passover or made in a Kosher for Passover Facility.
This package serves 2 people and includes
- Vegetable Dumpling Soup (1 Qt.)
- 4 Vegan Matzah Balls
- 2 Potato Crusted Spring Vegetable Pies (each 1.75 lbs.)
- Grilled Asparagus (8 oz.)
- Za’atar Roasted Carrots (8 oz.)
- 2 Vegan Coconut Macaroons
- Meal arrives fresh with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Upon arrival, place meal items in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
To Serve
Matzah Ball Soup
- Heat in a saucepan on medium heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
Sides
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Asparagus: Place in oven uncovered for 7-10 minutes.
- Carrots: Place in oven uncovered for 7-10 minutes.
- Potato Crusted Spring Vegetable Pies: Place in oven covered for 10 minutes, remove cover, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!

Today there are three Chicago locations, as well as one inside O’Hare Airport.
Sharpe has some serious cake baking skills, and they’re on full display here. Her Rainbow Cake is the most Instagrammed cake in Chicago, her luscious Oreo Cake is loaded with Oreos and topped with even MORE Oreos, her carrot cake recipe has traveled with her across the globe, and don’t even get us started on her decadent Southern-style Red Velvet Cake!
