Terry Black’s makes each of their sausages by hand, using Prime brisket trimmings, pork, and spices. Then, they smoke their sausages using slow-burning Post Oak wood, giving the meat a deep smoky flavor that the pretenders can’t match.

Born and raised in Lockhart, Texas, Terry Black passed down generations of barbecue knowledge learned from his experience in the Lockhart BBQ scene. His twin sons Michael and Mark Black bring their very own style of Central Texas BBQ at Terry Black’s, which opened in Austin, Texas, in 2014.
