T-Rex Cookie Company’s cookies have been ranked as Time Out Magazine’s “Best Cookie in America,” and after one bite you’ll quickly see why. Each oversized cookie is 8 inches across, perfect crispy yet chewy, and is filled with a variety of different flavors from Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Chip to Snickerdoodle and everything in between.
After almost 20 years in corporate America, T-Rex Cookie Company founder Tina Rexing decided to unshackle herself from her desk in 2015 and work full-time baking what is considered by many to be the best cookie in America. While she may have spent every day sitting in an office, much of those two decades was spent competing at the Minnesota State fair with her baked goods, refining her recipes each time. Apparently it was time well spent, as Time Out Magazine named her Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies the #1 Best Cookie in America in 2016. And while the taste certainly brought home the crown to Minneapolis, the fact that T-Rex Cookie Company’s cookies are a half-pound each and the same size as a dinner plate certainly didn’t hurt.
