Georgia Gouda Wedge
Ready To Eat
Georgia Gouda earns its name: a raw-milk Gouda that tastes distinctly of the state, its bright, tangy opening — the signature of grass-fed milk from Sweet Grass Dairy’s barn-free South Georgia herd — mellowing across 60-plus days of aging into a smooth, buttery, almost peachy-sweet finish. Dense and creamy rather than rubbery, it moves easily from a cheese board to a grilled cheese to anything wanting a sharp-then-sweet Southern inflection. A 2026 Good Food Award winner, 2025 American Cheese Society winner, and two-time World Cheese Awards silver medalist, it’s become one of the most celebrated raw-milk Goudas in the American South. Perfect for melting into mac and cheese, a board paired with pecans and peaches, or a cheese lover who thinks they’ve had every Gouda.

A Southern creamery with a national reputation — and the hardware to prove it.
The South’s Most Honored Artisan Cheese
Out of Thomasville, Georgia, Sweet Grass Dairy makes some of the most decorated artisan cheese in the American South, led by Green Hill, a luscious double-cream with a soft bloomy rind that has become the creamery's calling card. Jessica Little grew up on a dairy, learning from a mother who helped pioneer artisan cheesemaking in the Southeast; she and her husband Jeremy have spent two decades building on that foundation, earning more than 50 national and international honors from the American Cheese Society, the World Cheese Awards, and the Good Food Awards.
The range runs from Thomasville Tomme, aged 60 to 90 days in the style of a Pyrenees tomme, nutty and smooth, to Asher Blue, creamy enough to convert skeptics, to Georgia Gouda, a 2023 release that swept the major competitions in its first year. Sweet Grass Dairy's Southern cheese is shipped nationwide on Goldbelly, proof the South belongs on any cheese board.
