- King cake kit arrives ready to enjoy!
- Upon arrival, store Danish ring cake at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Optionally, wrap the cake tightly in plastic and keep frozen for up to 1 month.
To Serve
- If frozen, thaw Danish ring cake at room temperature for 1–2 hours before serving.
- Remove the Danish Ring from its box.
- Take out the pastry bag with filling, sanding sugars, and the toy baby.
Warming Ring Cake – Optional
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place the cake on a baking sheet and warm for 5–8 minutes until heated through.
- Warming is optional—fully cooked cake can also be served at room temperature.
Cake Preparation
- Use the provided pastry bag to pipe filling into the center of the ring or in sections as desired.
- Sprinkle sanding sugars over the filled Danish to add color and sweetness.
- Insert the toy baby where desired (traditionally in the center or as a surprise element).
- Slice, serve and enjoy!
- Any leftovers should be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or frozen for up to 1 month.
