St-Viateur Bagel’s world-famous Montreal bagels are expertly crafted; hand-rolled by our master bakers and boiled in honey water then baked in a wood-burning oven.
Established in 1957, St-Viateur Bagel is a family-run bakery in Montreal’s Mile End district, and today it’s Montreal’s longest-running bagel shop. Founded by Myer Lewkowicz, who moved to Montreal to start a new life after WWII, the bagel shop is now owned by Joe Morena and his three sons Vincenzo, Nicolò, and Roberto. Celebrities like Adam Sandler, Jimmy Kimmel, and Celine Dion have stopped by for the best bagels in Montreal. Anthony Bourdain visited St-Viateur Bagel on his show “No Reservations”, and, more recently, the Netflix Original “Somebody Feed Phil” stopped by.

- To store frozen, slice in half, and then freeze in an airtight freezer-safe plastic bag for up to two months.

- To enjoy bagels long term, they recommend slicing your bagels in half, sealing them in a freezer-safe plastic bag, and keeping them frozen until ready to eat.
- When you want a bagel, simply put one straight from the freezer into your toaster until you have a warm bagel ready for you to enjoy!
