This pulled pork is smoked for 10-12 hours using nothing but New Jersey oak. Once it’s ready, we hand shred the pork, add some signature house made rub and BBQ sauce, and pile it high on a freshly baked kaiser roll. Top it with some of the optional Hank Sauce and you’ve got one tasty sandwich!

Back in 2008, Dan Greenberg was working as a chiropractor in his hometown of Margate on the Jersey Shore. He loved helping people feel better, but hated working with insurance companies, so he decided to turn his love for smoking food into a business. Together with his wife Sandy, he founded South Jersey Smoke House, and since then, they’ve turned the business into a successful catering operation and restaurant, been written up by some of the industry’s top critics, and are smoking up some of the finest smoked salmon and other meats you’ll find anywhere.

  • Sauce, your choice (1 pt.)
  • Choose to add 1 bottle of Hank Sauce!

To Serve

  • Place pulled pork in stove pot with lid and heat over low heat stirring frequently.
  • Once pork is heated to 165 F, add a little more BBQ sauce and thoroughly mix in.
  • Pile the pulled pork onto the bottom of the roll, top with a tad more BBQ sauce (if desired), and then some Hank Sauce (optional).
  • Add the top roll and dig in!
