- Shortbreads ship fresh with coolant, which may thaw during transit. During colder months, select varieties may not include coolant.
- Though Shortbread is safe at room temperature for up to 1 week, it may also be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 3 months in an airtight/sealed container.
- Shortbreads should be enjoyed at room temperature.
- Should the Shortbread arrive above room temperature, allow it to reform in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
- Do NOT cut cold; serve and slice only at room temperature.
To Serve
- Bring frozen shortbread back to room temperature prior to slicing.
- Remove shortbread entirely from the tin before cutting.
- Score around the edge of the tin with a knife to separate the shortbread from the edges.
- Expand the corners of the tin and gently pop the shortbread out.
- Use a sharp knife on a cutting board to slice into 8 large or 16 bite-sized pieces.
