Shortbread Society, founded by Chef Scottish Francis (from Season 5 of “Masterchef”) and his wife Christine, is a hidden gem with a cult following in the heart of New York City. - Each shortbread measures 8.6″ × 6.1″ × 2″ and weighs 2- 2.5 lbs.

- Cherry Bakewell – This reinvents the classic sweet British dessert, the Cherry Bakewell Tart, into shortbread! This update starts with a layer of Granny Pearl’s Shortbread with a pinch of salt, followed by a layer of luscious raspberry & almond filling and glacé cherries, a layer of almond shortbread, and a finishing layer of super-sweet almond glaze. - Peanut Butter Cup – Calling all peanut butter lovers! A buttery-rich shortbread cookie base (just a wee bit crispy on the edges), layered with peanut butter graham cracker filling, smooth milk chocolate, and topped with one Reese’s Pieces—the ultimate peanut butter dessert!
- Rainbow Cookie – Rainbow Cookie Shortbread is a staple at Shortbread Society, and here’s what makes it so unique: Unlike a traditional rainbow cookie (which is cake-like), ours is made with layers of buttery almond shortbread, sandwiched with apricot and raspberry jam, and topped with rich dark chocolate and festive rainbow sprinkles. Dense, rich, and utterly indulgent!
- Original Granny Pearl – At the heart of Shortbread Society is Original Granny Pearl’s Shortbread, a true taste of tradition. Taught to Chef Scottish Francis by his cherished Granny Pearl at the age of three, this recipe embodies the art of classic Scottish Highland baking. Thick, buttery, moist, and perfectly crisp around the edges, this shortbread is simple, timeless, and authentic – crafted with love and tradition in every bite. Classic and Drizzle flavors available in regular, gluten-free & vegan.
- Birthday Baby Buttercream – Our Birthday Baby Buttercream features dreamy pink almond buttercream atop thick, buttery, rainbow-sprinkled shortbread, topped with rainbow sprinkles and a dash of sparkle. Perfect for birthdays or when that special occasion calls for something extra fabulous! Available in regular and gluten-free!

- Shortbreads ship fresh with coolant, which may thaw during transit.
- Shortbread may be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 3 months in an airtight/sealed container.
- Shortbreads should be enjoyed at room temperature.
- Should the Shortbread arrive above room temperature, allow it to reform in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
- Do NOT cut cold; serve and slice only at room temperature.
To Serve
- Shortbreads should be sliced at room temperature or very lightly chilled.
- Make sure to bring your frozen shortbread back to room temperature prior to slicing and serving.
- For easy slicing and serving we recommend removing your shortbread entirely from the tin.
- To do so, first take a knife or an offset spatula to score around the edge of the tin to separate the shortbread and filling from the edges of the tin.
- Then expand the corners of the tin and gently pop it out.
- On a flat surface, while using a cutting board, use a sharp knife and slowly slice your shortbread. It can serve 8 regular slices and 16 bite-sized pieces.
