The recipe was created by brothers Pete and John Najjar in 1986, who were experimenting with different spices and marinades. Founded in 1985, the independent, family-owned grocery store has succeeded in creating a one-of-a-kind grilled meat!

Customers loved it so much they nicknamed it “Cardiff Crack.” Today, Seaside Market takes only USDA Choice, US-raised beef and places it in a special vacuum tumble process that allows the marinade to absorb fully. After an hour, the “crack” is ready for dealing… straight onto your grill and into your belly!
