In 1957, fisherman Tom Savidge and his wife Marie began smoking wild salmon in their backyard smokehouse and selling it to local taverns in Anacortes, Washington. The fish gained massive popularity and SeaBear Smokehouse was born. Now, more than half a century later, SeaBear Smokehouse remains true to their roots serving sustainable seafood handcrafted in small batches from the Pacific Northwest.

This package serves 6 people and includes

  • 2 boxes Smoked Wild Sockeye Salmon (each 6 oz.)
  • 2 pouches Smoked Wild Salmon Chowder (each 12 oz.)
  • 4 pouches Ready to Eat Wild Sockeye Salmon (each 3.5 oz.)
  • Pantry starter set arrives ready to enjoy!
  • Upon arrival, store all items in a cool dry place.
  • Ready to eat pouches are safe to enjoy for at least 4 years as long as the pouch is not punctured, leaking or opened.

To Serve

Smoked Wild Salmon Chowder

  • Empty contents of the pouch into a deep sauce-pan or pot.
  • Stir in 1 1/2 cups of either milk or half-and-half (not included). 1 to 1 1/2 cups recommended for best consistency.
  • Warm gently over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  • Once the desired temperature is reached, let stand for 3 minutes before serving.
  • Serve and enjoy!
