Square potato knishes — crispy and golden outside, creamy mashed potato within, in the classic Coney Island–style form — from the Sable’s counter Danny and Kenny Sze opened on the Upper East Side in 1992 after 12 years at Zabar’s. Four per pack and better than anything from a street cart: the knish as it was meant to be, made by a shop that takes every item on the counter seriously.

- Each knish measures approx. 4"
- Knishes ship fresh with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store knishes in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
- Knishes may be stored up to 4 days in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer.
To Serve

Located on Second Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Sable’s has been known as one of the city’s finest sources for smoked fish, bagels, and other Jewish “appetizing” specialties since it opened in 1992.
