Puckett’s ever-popular brisket starts with an overnight rest in their house marinade. Then they give it a good coating of BBQ rub and smoke it over cherrywood for 8 hours. It’s that low and slow cooking process that results in juicy and tender brisket with a slightly sweet and deliciously smoky flavor. You’ll love it on its own or with either of Puckett’s sauces. Try the original for a true Memphis-style sauce that’s sweet, no heat; or, spicy, their Texas-style BBQ sauce. It’s not hot, but it’s got a kick to it!

Back in 1998, Andy Marshall decided to purchase a little country market in the small village of Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, called Puckett’s. It was a beloved community gathering place, and in that spirit Andy began serving home-cooked meals and cherrywood-smoked Memphis-style barbecue and inviting in locals to perform live music. It proved to be a winning formula, and today there are six (soon to be seven!) Puckett’s locations across Tennessee, serving up hearty comfort food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.

  • Upon arrival, store brisket in the refrigerator or the freezer.

  • Refrigerate sauces after opening.

To Serve

Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
