When you receive your package open it up and take a look at the crab. Decide what you are going to eat in the next couple days and put it in the refrigerator. Certain items if properly stored can be placed in your freezer for at least a couple months.

To crack crab, place the pointy side down on a cutting board. Take a sharp kitchen knife or kitchen scissors and cut through the back of the legs (the smooth part) and the meat will come right out. Be careful with the claws as they can be more difficult.
