Paulsen Foods’ Cajun Shrimp & Crab Cakes: hand-formed seafood cakes combining wild Gulf shrimp, tender crab meat, and smoky andouille sausage with Cajun seasoning — from Chef Russell Paulsen’s Georgia-based gourmet food company founded in 2006. The Southern Gulf Coast classic from the chef who refined his craft at the Ocean Reef Club and Ritz-Carlton.

  • This package serves 4-6 people and includes 6 Cajun Shrimp & Crab Cakes (3.5 oz. each)
  • Items ship frozen with dry ice, may dissipate in transit.
  • Do not handle dry ice with bare hands.
  • Upon arrival, keep frozen for up to 6 months.
  • Once thawed, keep refrigerated and best enjoyed within 4 days.

To Serve

Oven (Recommended)

  • Do not thaw. Cook from frozen.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Place cakes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Pan Fry + Oven Finish

  • Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Fry cakes from frozen for about 45 seconds per side to develop a golden crust.
  • Transfer to a 375°F oven and bake until heated through.

Chef’s Tip: For extra richness, place a small tab of butter on each cake during the last 2 minutes of baking.
